Suicide Prevention Task Force

 “Working to Keep More Than Dreams Alive”  The Jason Foundation

The focus of the Suicide Prevention Task Force is the prevention of suicide in our community.

The Task Force is comprised of professionals from the community who work in concert to provide:

·        Educational material for the schools from the Jason Foundation

·        Information for students who may be suffering from depression

·        Information for students and parents who may be concerned about a friend or child

·        Resources for persons who are concerned about themselves or others

 

The HLHP Suicide Prevention Task Force is using the fine work created by the Jason Foundation to educate the community regarding:

·        Facts about youth suicide

·        How to Help

·        Higher Risk Sub-Groups

·        Risk Factors

·        Common Myths

·        Signs and Concerns

·        Program Presentation
